Description We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with financial reporting and analysis
Support the finance team with ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred
2 years of experience in accounting or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
