As an ACT Support Specialist II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and
administrative duties, including supporting Community Support Workers (CSWs), reviewing and
approving CSW notes, and coordinating care for clients. This role involves providing therapeutic services,
preparing assessments, and ensuring effective communication between clients and the clinical team.
Additionally, you will collaborate with leadership to develop clinical training and expand MBI’s services.
All responsibilities must comply with MBI Health Services' standards and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities: Support of Community Support Workers (CSWs) including the review and approval of CSW encounter notes.Assisting clinical team in coordinating care and future healthcare needs.Providing an effective communication link between consumer and clinical team.Maintaining confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.Collecting information about clients through interviews, tests and evaluation of day-to-day functioning within work, family and other routines; identifying areas needing continued support, resources and treatment in order to assist clients.Providing therapeutic services to clients through individual, family and group sessions that are consistent with the current research, professional standards, and MBI’s vision and values (You will be expected to provide a minimum of 10 billable therapy hours per week!).Preparing diagnostic and bio-psychosocial assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and revising treatment plans of clients, as needed.Collaborating with the MBI leadership team, by assisting with identifying, developing, coordinating, and evaluating clinical training for staff to ensure consistency in the MBI Standards of Practice and continued advancement of MBI Health Services, LLC.Assisting with developing, implementing and expanding MBI’s services and programs to address identified gaps in mental health and supportive services available to the surrounding community.Providing follow-up and aftercare planning services, as needed.Providing emergency services during working hours and after-hours, as assigned.Attend staff meetings and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations.All duties and responsibilities must be performed in compliance with the District of Columbia’s Behavioral Health Standards and regulations of MBI Health Services, LLC, and all Federal, State and Local laws applicable to this Agreement.Attends all company-required trainingsOther related duties as assigned.
