Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will consult with management and the team on analyzing, modeling, and interpreting capital and Profit & Loss (P&L) implications. In this role, you will consult on preparing corporate strategy analytics, market-based benchmarking, trend, scenario and business plan analysis on capital requirements, capital allocation, and optimization and effectiveness of business and/or enterprise strategies as needed.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Enterprise Capital - Capital Management and Analysis - Advisor role youwill provideinsight to help drive business decisions through interrogation and analysis of capital data and regulation,ensureefficient and appropriate management of our capital by developing and overseeing various capital management processes, interpretnew regulatory policies and guidance and adviselines of business of potential implications.

This role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare forecasts of quarterly regulatory capital reporting and submit to regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and consolidate assumptions and scenarios to perform baseline capital forecasting, DFAST and MST stress testing, key assumption sensitivities, and other analytics and reporting as necessary.
  • Analyze and update corporate strategic plans, and assess and report on capital and PL implications.
  • Develop and implement metrics and methodologies for capital adequacy, allocation, and optimization strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years of related work experience
  • Significant experience in mortgage or housing market research and analysis
  • Significant experience in regulatory capital analysis, corporate finance, accounting, and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving-skills; driven to communicate quantitative information clearly and efficiently with a focus on business and financial implications
  • High sense of urgency, organizational skills and attention to detail with a pragmatic approach project design and implementation; driven to lead projects across multiple lines of businesses or functional groups
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent;

    MA/MBA or CFA preferred
  • Advanced experience with Python, R, SQL or other similar language in an analytics role is required; knowledge of multiple languages preferred
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel (including macros), Tableau, or Power BI
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience evaluating potential business transactions and complex structures to advise lines of business on regulatory capital implications; researching and resolving ad-hoc capital rule interpretation questions
