Mozart’s Restaurant is nestled in the Bavarian-themed Village of Leavenworth, WA, and we are looking for a Line Cook to be a member of a team with the goal to fulfill our vision of “Inspired Austrian Cuisine in an Elevated Setting”. Our kitchen is adding a few new Line Cooks - offering competitive hourly pay and much more.
Some of the duties you will be performing as a Line Cook would include:
● Assess prep needs and help prep cook if needed
● Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
● Prepare food for Service (e.g. wash, chop and cook ingredients according to recipes)
● Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
● Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
● Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and a timely fashion
● Clean up the station and take care of leftover food.
● Label, date and stock appropriately
● Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
● Take out garbage and boxes. Help team members, incl. Dishwashers
● Answer to shift supervisor, kitchen manager and/or culinary director
● Perform all duties with honesty and integrity
● Follow company rules as stated in the handbook
● Fulfill side work, opening, operating and closing duties to management approval
Experience in a similar position would be a plus; however, a strong work ethic & willingness to learn would be just as valuable for success in this opportunity.
Starting pay for this position is $19.00 + Tips - and with direct deposit, you can get paid weekly!
