Parts Counter Person

Bob Feil Boats and Motors is currently seeking one Full Time Parts Counter Person to join our growing Family. We have been Family Owned & operated since 1948. We offer our customers one of the largest marine parts and accessory inventories in the state. It is our goal that the staff at Bob Feil Boats and Motors, offer our customers superior service and knowledgeable advice. We are in the heart of Central Washington with four full weather seasons offering some of the best outdoor recreation opportunities in the country. Our home town community also offers the regions best healthcare, schools, shopping, dining and housing all within a short hassle free commute to our facility.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Looking up and advising retail parts counter customers with their parts and accessory needs.
Looking up and assisting our service team with the parts needed to perform their task.
Assist with daily freight check in and inventory control
Assist with daily parts ordering; both stocking and special orders
Other task as necessary
Experienced Parts Counter-person Qualifications
Prefer (yet not required if you are the right person in other ways) someone with basic knowledge of marine systems including outboard engines, inboards/outboard engines, direct and v-drive engines, stern drives, steering systems and electrical systems; trailer electrical and braking systems also a plus.
Prefer (yet not required if you are the right person in other ways) to find someone with marine/automotive/power-sports counter experience , either at a dealer or independent shop
Must be computer savvy and have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to multi-task while keeping a positive attitude
Bilingual a Strong Plus but not Required
Able to use adding machine and process cash, check, and credit card transactions
Visually capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers and remembering their sequencing
Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
Able to work on feet (stand and walk) for entire assigned work shift
Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds
Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and able to reach upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
Experienced Automotive Parts Counter-person with Bob Feil Boats and Motors
