Warehouse Assistant
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, or work site
Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, hand truck, forklift and/or electric pallet jack,
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Loads materials onto vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading/unloading
Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled breakage and spoilage on appropriate
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles
Miscellaneous duties may include emptying trash, keeping warehouse floors clear of debris
Must have a clean driving record
Be able to get certified on Forklift
Normal Work Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Must be dependable
WAGE $19.00
