Posted Position: This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Service Technician at our Yakima, WA facility. The Mechanical Service Tech is critical role for Van Doren Sales to support our customers. On a daily basis you will be working with Fruit Warehouses focusing in on the maintenance and/or troubleshooting and repairing Van Doren manufactured equipment. To be successful in the role this person must be self-driven and motivated. In this position, you report directly to the Service Manager. Qualifications: Experience in preventive maintenance and automation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical systems
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and conveyance equipment
Offer solutions and sales or parts and repair kits
