We are currently seeking a Journeyman Level Boiler Technician with HVAC Service/Install experience including: Service and Maintenance of Boilers of all ages and sizes. Any experience in HVAC Project work, Market Refrigeration, Chillers, Medium/Large Commercial HVAC/R Equipment, and Self-contained Coolers and Freezers is a plus and highly desired. About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of boilers and related equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain boilers, pressure vessels, and associated systems

- Must have knowledge and experience with systems as old as the early 20th century.

- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with boilers and related equipment

- Perform emergency repairs as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

- Communicate effectively with clients and team members

- Stay updated on the latest boiler technologies and industry best practices

- Fill in as HVAC Technician as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate's degree in a related field preferred

- Valid boiler technician certification or license as required by state regulations

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler maintenance, and repair

- Strong knowledge of various boiler types (e.g., fire-tube, water-tube, electric)

- Familiarity with boiler controls, burners, and auxiliary equipment

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to the trade

- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs.)

- WA State 06A Electrical License

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Knowledge and experience in servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems

- Familiarity with building automation systems

- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report writing

Work Environment:

- Full-time position with occasional overtime and on-call duties

- Work in various settings including industrial plants, commercial buildings, and residential properties

- May involve working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions

- Exposure to noise, heat, and potentially hazardous materials (with proper safety equipment provided)
