You'll provide part-time weekend pediatric coverage in the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, Virginia area, delivering outpatient pediatric care in a structured, team-oriented clinical setting supporting military families.You'll provide comprehensive pediatric care for routine, acute, and chronic conditions while coordinating with specialists and support programs and documenting care accurately in military clinic EHR systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive pediatric care for patients under 18, including routine, acute, and chronic conditions.Conduct well-child exams, sports physicals, developmental screenings, and immunizations.Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions, including ADHD, cerebral palsy, birth defects, emotional concerns, and suspected child abuse or neglect.Educate parents and patients on disease management, wellness, and preventive care.Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics; refer to specialists or support programs as needed.Support Family Advocacy Program exams, documentation, and reporting while supervising and mentoring residents, corpsmen, and support personnel.Document care accurately and timely in CHCS, AHLTA, and MHS Genesis while participating in training, staff meetings, quality improvement, and risk management activities.If you're looking for a role where your clinical depth is matched by the complexity of the work, this is it.
