Employee Responsibilities:Perform lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine products and process intermediatesPrepare solutions/reagents and sample submissions to analytical partnersSet-up process equipment for lab-scale experimentsMaintain laboratory inventory of chemicals and consumablesMaintain records and experimental results following good laboratory practices (GLP)Second-person review of experimental notebooks and technical documentsCommunication of scientific information through oral presentations and written documents The Ideal Candidate would possess:Hands-on expertise with downstream unit operations (i.e. centrifugation, membrane filtration, chromatography, etc.) and process development for large moleculesStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesProven ability to work independently in hands-on laboratory setting
