Maintenance Mechanic (12hr Days)

Assist all production team members to maintain maximum efficiency in terms of machine operation, makeready and lost-time to meet plant objectives.Perform mechanical maintenance and repair of all equipment in both plantsCapable of repairing and maintaining plant equipment, which includes: strapping equipment, skid wrappers, digital and conventional printing equipment, web-fed presses, die cutters and embossing equipment, conveyor systems, air compressors, etcPerform preventative maintenance according to assigned areas.Complete assigned projects accurately as soon as possible without neglecting other duties.Skilled in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining simple and complex equipment and machinery.  Perform maintenance on equipment and buildings as required.Prepare and install all ancillary equipment as required.Responsible for communicating all applicable information from person to person and shift to shiftRepair, make and/or assemble small parts for inventory storage and/or maintenance projects.Cooperate with other areas so as to contribute to general plant efficiency.Perform other duties as assignedResponsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
