Sheehy Mail Contractors is looking to expand in our customer service and in also working with our excellent drivers!

Summary

The Customer Service Team is the essential link between our business and our Internal and External Customers. Our Customer Service members work to accomplish business objectives while prioritizing safety and on-time performance. As a 24/7 transportation company, we pride ourselves on having our excellent Customer Service Team also available 24/7 to assist our Internal Customers in all things relating to transportation, from understanding compliance with DOT regulations to assisting with roadside service and other related problem-solving opportunities. Our state of the art dispatching software allows our team members to notify our External Customers in real-time their freight's location, any time of the day they need it, which is a must in today's marketplace.

Quality of Work:

We expect the right candidate to perform their work in a professional manner and complete assignments willingly and on time. This candidate will learn company policies and procedures, Federal rules and regulations, and also be able to answer routine questions regarding the same. This candidate must have and maintain a very high level of telephone etiquette and professionalism when working with our Internal and External Customers.

ADAPTABILITY - Adjusting to change:

Transportation is a fast-paced environment, so the candidate will be able to quickly adapt to new or unexpected circumstances with high-level multi-tasking skills. This candidate will be able to notify and lead other team members as appropriate when circumstances change suddenly and provide correct follow-through while following safety regulations and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate professionally with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.

Strong multi-tasking capabilities.

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

Records maintenance skills to include database management.

Ability to establish, implement and maintain goals and objectives.
