PRN Home Health Private Duty Nurses needed for 10 yo female with intractable epilepsy and g tube feeds, NON-VENT. Non-mobile, non-verbal but has head switches to communicate and lots of personality. Easy going with lots of personality, loves to play and read books.
Lifting 50 lbs for transfers/short distances required. Client does help weight bear for transfers.
ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR ALL CARES INCLUDING SEIZURE RECOGNITION PROVIDED!
PRN hours - parents need occasional evening/overnight/weekend help as well as back up to primary day nurse. Work minimum one shift per month (2-12 hours your choice typically).
We want our nurses to feel like part of the family. Non-smoking, health-conscious candidates only please as the common cold often leads to hospital stays.
A willingness to attend school for backup shifts is a plus but certainly not required. Background check prior to starting.
