Gardner Watson Decking, Inc., is a full-service metal decking installation company headquartered in Oldsmar, FL, and is looking to hire Fire Watch near Madison, WI to monitor for fire safety and handle fire extinguisher in areas where flammable materials are present. This position also assists with cleaning up across the job site.
Maintains a lookout for small fires started by sparks and heated pieces of metal.
Should a fire begin to develop or occur, they execute their primary duty of sounding the alarm and, if possible, attempt to control the fire.
Ensure that fire extinguishing equipment is readily available and functional.
Document observations and report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
Assist in the cleaning and disposal of trash to maintain clean and clear work areas.
