New restaurant & bar opening in downtown Madison is seeking experienced finish carpenters for a project-based build-out.
We’re looking for craftspeople who take pride in clean, detailed work to help bring a design-forward space to life.
Project Scope
You (or your small crew/shop) will be responsible for some or all of:
Building and installing a bar (bar front/panels, trim, bar top, foot rail blocking)
Building built-in bookcases and shelving (library-style look)
Additional finished millwork and trim to tie the room together
Coordinating with our GC, electrician, and designer to ensure everything lines up in the field
We have drawings and measurements and are happy to collaborate on smart construction details.
Ideal Candidate
Has finish carpentry experience (commercial or high-end residential)
Strong examples of:
Bar builds
Bookcases / built-ins
Detailed trim and millwork
Can read plans, field-measure, and problem-solve on site
Has own tools and reliable transportation to downtown Madison
Professional, punctual, and good communicator
