AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Civil Engineering II in Middleton, WI.Job responsibilities:Apply proven experience to the planning and design of water resources projects, including H&H modeling and floodplain mapping, stormwater quality modeling, flood control projects, stormwater treatment, site development, and transportation-related drainage design.Provide engineering review of stormwater and erosion control plans.Develop scopes of work and budgets for water resources projects or for water resources components of larger projects.Prepare permit applications and pursue approval.Develop and formulate cost-effective, technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects.Prepare construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, correspondence, and reports with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards.Provide guidance to entry level engineers.Collaborate with other groups across AECOM offices.Field work may be required on an occasional basis to support land surveyor and construction engineers.Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain / defend work, etc.Guide more junior team members with aspects of their job and may coordinate activities of a small team.May telecommute.
