Job Summary
Responsible for income tax preparation for individuals and businesses. Follows all tax laws and regulations while identifying potential tax credits and ensuring accurate, complete and timely returns. Provides outstanding customer service to all clients whether the interaction is face to face or virtual.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare or assist in preparing individual and business tax returns with accuracy
Compute taxes owed following the tax code while obtaining the maximum tax benefit for clients
Uncover potential tax credits and deductions
Advise clients on tax planning
Review financial records and tax documents to ensure accurate entry
Interview clients to get a full understanding of any potential tax situations
Calculate and invoice clients for tax preparation in QuickBooks
Scan and save all supporting documents
Prepare tax returns using Drake Tax software
