Wintergreen Site Management is a rapidly growing, family-owned landscaping and snow/ice management company based in West Bend, WI. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking 1–3 dependable and hardworking team members to join us for the winter snow season, with opportunities to transition into full-time roles this spring.
Position Overview
We are hiring Snow Plow Operators (truck with plow or skid steer with plow) and Sidewalk Crew Members for the upcoming winter season. This is an on-call position, as work is fully dependent on winter weather conditions—including snowfall timing, duration, and severity.
Winter weather is unpredictable. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in cold temperatures, snow, wind, and icy conditions. Reliability and the ability to respond quickly when called are essential.
Winter Job Duties
Snow Plow Operators (Truck or Skid Steer):
Operate a truck/plow or skid steer to clear snow from:
Parking lots
Driveways
Commercial and residential properties
Perform bulk salt applications
Assist sidewalk crews as needed
Complete route efficiently and safely
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Report equipment issues promptly
Maintain accurate logs for service times, conditions, and materials used
Be available for on-call shifts with up to 3-hour advance notice
Sidewalk Crew Members:
Operate stand-on sidewalk machines, walk-behind snowblowers & shovels
Apply sidewalk salt and de-icing products
Clear sidewalks, steps, walkways, and entryways
Work with plow operators to maintain property safety
Qualifications:
No experience required — we will train the right candidates.
Ability to work in extreme winter conditions (cold, snow, ice, wind).
Reliable transportation to our West Bend shop.
Clean driving record (required for operator positions).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor outdoors.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Dependable, responsible, and able to respond when called.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
