SPORT Clinic Physical Therapy seeks a patient care coordinator to provide a warm, friendly and informative experience for patients when they arrive for appointments.
This person will be an integral part of our SPORT clinic team, a family atmosphere, providing quality physical therapy in a caring environment.
This position plays an important role in the physical therapy process helping patients feel confident and assured. This person must be able to answer questions, seek answers and follow through with patients in a timely manner to assure continuity of care.
Duties include:
- Customer service
- Greeting patients upon arrival
- Answering phones
- Providing information regarding physical therapy scheduling and insurance
- Scheduling patients using our electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Obtaining and processing insurance information
- Assisting therapists in preparing stations between patients
- Light back-of-house housekeeping duties
