Applicants should have, but not required, experience in:
Some finish carpentry, drywall experience, painting experience, laminate/vinyl flooring experience, water and fire restoration, general demolition
We are a fire and water restoration company located in Hartland, WI that has been operating for over five years.
We are seeking a full time Carpenter/Handyman for the company. Experience is required. Applicants must be able to work from 8am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday and be available for after-hours service. On call schedule rotation is a must. Pay is based upon experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Repairing homes/businesses after water damage or a fire.
Be responsible for determining building materials needed
Solving problems that arise on a construction project
Responding to emergency fire/water damage situations
Working on site setting up drying equipment, moving personal property, general demolition
Utilizing iPhone/iPad to update job progress to insurance companies daily
Speaking directly to homeowners and insurance companies
Scoping the extent of damage at a jobsite. Input detailed information into iPad/iPhone
Working independently
Requirements
Clean background
Have a valid driver’s license
Vehicle and insurance
Have a cell phone
Have basic understanding of iPad/iPhone
Have basic computer skills
Professional appearance
Minimum 3 years with payable experience
Have own tools is a plus
On call

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $29.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
