Quality Inspector 2 - 2nd Shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm) starting at $18.75 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour premium shift differential!The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting printed materials and performing quality tests to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards. ResponsibilitiesPerform “samples” selection and package for shipment.Perform visual inspection of random samples of product selected during a production run or post production looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, misalignment, and any other visual defect that is out of specification.Follow inspection checklist and record any identified defects.Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.Identify potential issues and involve department Lead and/or management to determine an appropriate solution.May assist with special projects or more complex customer orders.May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.Perform other duties as assigned.
