We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Lead Janitor to join our team at Right Shine Janitorial LLC in Rhinelander, WI primarily at Nicolet College. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional janitorial services. This position will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organization primarily across the Nicolet College campus overnight.
Base Schedule is Saturday through Wednesday nights with some scheduling flexibility allowed on week nights. Flexibility to assist at one or two other locations occasionally.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in daily cleaning operations to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
-Support janitorial staff with various cleaning tasks
-Help with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
-Ability to work independently and under direction as part of a team
-Work with team members to enhance service delivery.
-Maintain safety protocols while performing cleaning duties.
-Assist in special projects as needed, contributing to overall facility upkeep.
-Provide excellent customer service and bring ideas to enhance services
-Fill in for Head Supervisor at a higher rate of pay when needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is highly desirable.
An understanding of cleaning techniques and ability to follow safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and communication.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods of cleaning as well as suggest new methods.
Physical stamina for lifting and moving equipment as required.
Background check required and must possess valid Driver’s License.
