Job Summary:
Teaching staff is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role involves developing age-appropriate lesson plans, supporting social and emotional growth, maintaining open communication with parents, and ensuring compliance with all childcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
Plan and implement daily activities that promote learning through play and creativity.
Support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Observe and document each child’s progress and behavior; communicate observations to parents and the center director.
Encourage positive interactions among children to build cooperation and respect.
Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety standards.
Assist with meal and nap times, diaper changes, and bathroom routines as needed.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and required certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.).
