Description Job Title: Cloud Systems Engineer - Microsoft AzureLocation: Sun Prairie, WI (Hybrid)Salary: $100,000-130,000/yearDirect/Permanent HireJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Systems Engineer with specific experience in managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our cloud-based systems on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring they are operating optimally and securely.Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure platform.
Monitoring the health and functionality of the Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Updating and maintaining infrastructure documentation including diagrams, standards, and procedures.
Troubleshooting complex technical issues in the Azure cloud environment.
Collaborating with development teams to assist with application design and deployment, and to ensure applications are optimally integrated and configured.
Implementing security measures to protect cloud-based systems and applications.
Act as technical expert for the Microsoft Azure cloud environment within the company.
Managing disaster recovery and conducting backup operations on the Azure platform.
Staying current with technological trends and innovations in cloud system engineering.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD methodologies, and tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Experience in cloud-based disaster recovery, backup strategies, and implementation.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
Microsoft Azure certifications would be highly advantageous.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and strategies.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be team-oriented.
