Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.Responsibilities:Operating equipment: Driving, maneuvering, and controlling heavy machinery like bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, and road gradersMaintaining equipment: Cleaning, servicing, and making minor repairs to equipmentLoading and unloading: Moving equipment, materials, and supplies onto and off of vehiclesMonitoring: Watching gauges and dials to ensure equipment is working properlyReporting: Notifying supervisors of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needsPerforming manual labor: Digging, lifting, hauling, spraying, and other heavy manual laborPreparing surfaces: Preparing surfaces for paving and spreading asphaltInstalling irrigation systems: Installing and maintaining irrigation systemsEnsuring safety: Ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations, and following basic safety precautionsQualifications:Knowledge of equipment: Understanding how to operate and maintain heavy equipment, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsSafety: Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, and to enforce themVehicle maintenance: Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil and water levels and tire pressureMachine operation: Experience and skills in operating machinery, including assessing, cleaning, calibrating, and fixing equipment ?Troubleshooting: Ability to use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot issuesAbility to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the dayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationPrior experience in the commercial field preferredPrior experience using preferredPosition may require a drug screenTrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
