Well-established, Land Surveying Company in Spanish Fort, now accepting resumes for Survey Technician position.
5+ years of Land Surveying experience preferred. A good foundation in working with points, field notes and sketches, experience doing calculations for construction layout and experience with boundary determination a plus. Prior experience working in the field as a party chief or instrument operator preferred but not required.
Applicants must be able to coordinate with field staff to anticipate and provide information and calculations to facilitate the completion of field activities as well as the production of complete survey drawings using our standards, taking direction with the PLS to ensure our clients’ needs are met.

Job Summary:
Completion of survey consisting of topographic, boundary, subdivision, ALTA, wetlands and construction layout to determine the locations of natural and man-made features.
Interpret construction plans, perform necessary calculations
Coordinate with field crews
Desired Skills:
Carlson Survey, Word, Computer based project man
College or technical courses in drafting, mathematics and surveying is preferred
Familiar with field procedures for performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys.
Must be capable of passing a Drug Test
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
