Summary About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (OIB Enterprise Site Support) with DCS G-3 for Operations located in Redstone Arsenal, AL. This specialist will be responsible for coordinating LCMC requirements submittal and validating that requirements meet all applicable policies, regulations, and objectives related to the Organic Industrial Base (OIB). Responsibilities Participate in the development, coordination and implementation of DA, AMC, and DOD policies related to OIB Sustainment, Modernization and all relevant Defense Industrial Base matters Oversee capacity, workload planning and processes across OIB and evaluates compliance with AMC standards and Army policy. Engage with auditors as appropriate. Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting of sustainment level maintenance requirements using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as the Logistics Moderation program (LMP). Develop and analyze key LCMC cost, schedule, and performance metrics to evaluate health of the OIB. Acts as SME on the tools, platforms, and other data-based solutions within OIB Enterprise that are specific to execution of the duties related to this position. Provide briefings, preparatory presentations, and program statuses to Army Materiel Command senior leadership. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Participates in the development and/or review of logistics concepts, policies and future plans based on extensive analysis; 2) Collects data, conducts analysis, and develops guidance for OIB stakeholders on workload planning and execution; AND 3) Evaluates and provides oversight OIB stakeholders on key performance indicators related to OIB performance, Cost and Audit Readiness . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
