We have a vacancy for a part-time janitorial position (possibly leading to full-time position) to work in several buildings. You will perform a variety cleaning tasks, including maintaining salons, offices, additional work areas, check-outs, housekeeping, and doing minimal laundry. Skill Requirements:
Occupational-Specific: Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing heavy labor throughout an 8-hour shift.
Technical Skills: Training provided. Operate carpet cleaner/extractor, vacuum, wet/dry shop vacuum, buffer/polisher, pressure washer, and snow removal equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning solutions and solvents a plus.
Personal & Professional Expectations: Good listening and oral communication skills are imperative. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and have the great ability to follow instructions efficiently. The person selected should be eager to learn new skills.
Task Description
Clean and maintain commercial office spaces and salons;
Maintain and control inventory;
Clean condo and ready for next renter;
Clean carpets;
Move furniture;
Assist in keeping the grounds well maintained;
Clean and the floors in the salons;
Other duties as assigned
Other general maintenance experience is a huge plus.
