This role sits in the Supply Chain organization, within the Replenishment team. The role reports to the Manager, National Sales Replenishment Support.Serves as the single point of contact for assigned National Sales customers for all aspects related to Replenishment. Leads coordination between Sales Support and Replenishment to drive key replenishment processes such as new item transitions, customer onboarding and off-boarding, and promotion execution. Tracks key metrics such as service levels, inventory days on hands (IDOH), and excess & obsolete (E&O) for the assigned National Sales customers. Provides short term replenishment support to other strategic efforts related to onboarding major National Sales customers that the leadership team has deemed important to focus on.Flexible Work Policy: The Replenishment Specialist National Accounts position has been segmented as Remote Anywhere meaning the work is completed 100% remote/virtual anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer collaboration on Replenishment aspectsCollaborate directly with customer representatives on aspects related to Replenishment planning and execution. Work closely with Support Customer Account Coordinator (CAC) and Customer Account Executive (CAE) to ensure client needs are fully met from a Replenishment standpoint:
Serve as the customer point of contact for all replenishment tasks and queries through the customer life cycle (set up through to products arriving at customers dock door)
Collaborate with customers directly on replenishment strategy & planning major events such as promotions, new item setup, and customer onboarding / off-boarding
Support customer meetings to gather information for customer requests, (e.g., onboarding, exiting, new item request, LTOs etc.)
Sit on & support key customer meetings related to service levels and transitions planning
Assist customers with Inventory Management for customer specific assortment, (e.g., identify and manage unproductive inventory (UPI), identify items that can be transferred etc.) and act as Project Lead on item transitions and customer exits.
Performance management and support responsibilitiesMonitor all replenishment related performance metrics for assigned National Sales customer accounts. Actively engage in National Sales-level staff meetings on replenishment performance and issue resolution. Represent replenishment at customer meetings, drive timely updates & own all follow-ups:
Target service levels: Track and monitor service levels for assigned customer accounts. Serve as the single point of contact for queries related to service issues. Work with the area buying team to understand the root causes for service disruptions and provide timely updates to sales on service outages, planned actions and estimated recovery timeline
Optimal days inventory on hand (DIOH): Monitor inventory levels (days on hand) for assigned customer accounts’ inventory and work with the area buying team to determine corrective actions for over/ under positions
Spoilage & inventory adjustment: Track and monitor spoilage, F2F, Inventory cost change (ICC), etc. across all categories for customer specific inventory
Key events support: Monitor and oversee how sales events are orchestrated from a replenishment standpoint for your assigned customer accounts; Engage cross-functional leaders as needed with sales and merchandising
Limited Time Offers (LTO): Coordinate & ensure on-time & in-full delivery of limited time offers assigned to National Sales accounts; help with post event follow ups and performance reviews
Service requests: Oversee timely action of service requests for assigned National Sales customer accounts; Work with area directors to determine allocation priorities for constrained items
Item set up & customer onboardingEnsure reliability for customer transitions (start-up & ramp-down) and assortment transitions; facilitate the right expertise and cross-functional support as needed.
Single point ownership and coordination: Own and coordinate replenishment tasks end to end with area buying teams, Replenishment Excellence, NSAL and other teams for timely item setup and customer onboarding
Area buying collaboration: Assign items and vendors to area buyers for new item setup based on current area / category assignments. Track execution of area buying actions and tasks for timely setup
Upfront setup: Lead coordination and upfront data gathering for item setup (lead times, MOQs, other replenishment parameters); work closely with merchandising, area buying teams, and Replenishment Excellence
Supporting sales team for assigned accounts
Customer orientation: Build a strong culture of customer service orientation, collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement within the area buying team for assigned customers
Sales collaboration: Track customer order pattern and help strategize offers/ promotions for key customer events for assigned accounts
Demand guidance: Guide sales and planning team on inventory and volume needs, provide guidance for place demand changes (DCTs)
Customer contracts: In collaboration with merchandising team. receive and maintain record of vendor contracts, internal and from customers
RELATIONSHIPSThis role sits in the Supply chain organization, within the Replenishment team. Given the cross-functional nature of this role, build and maintain communication with multiple functions within US Foods.
Replenishment leadership: Report into the Manager, National Sales Replenishment Support who oversees replenishment for National Sales accounts.
National Sales leadership: Interact with National Sales leadership on a frequent basis to update on account level performance as well as engage on key issues that are specific to Replenishment
Replenishment Excellence: Collaborate with Replenishment Excellence on an ongoing basis for support and expertise on demand forecasting, PO buy optimization, inventory optimization, and systems configuration for assigned customers
Area buying teams : Oversee coordination for key replenishment tasks with Area buying team on a regular basis (Area Director, Area Buyers) for assigned National Sales customer accounts
Additional functions to work closely with:
Merchandising: on vendor, category, assortment related aspects
NSAL team: on customer setup related tasks
DC operations: on DC inbound, slotting & outbound related aspects
Local sales: on area specific service challenges & recovery actions
Transportation: on inbound freight and pick-up delays
Finance & costing: on costing related aspects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of operations experience within core supply chain functions, specifically, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Purchasing, or other food service/ distribution related functions such as Merchandising, Category Management, or Sales Operations
Experience working with Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management systems (i.e., Blue Yonder, Logility, SAP, etc.)
Proficiency in data analysis & visualization tools (i.e., Excel, Sigma, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Ability to synthesize key information, structure communication, and present to leadership team
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally and draw linkages to business
High attention to detail, strong customer orientation, and fact-based decision making
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related fields, or equivalent military and/or professional experience

In Colorado , the expected compensation for this role is between $74,900 - $99,000. In New York , the expected compensation for this role is between $74,900 - $99,000. In California , the expected compensation for this role is between $74,900 - $99,000. In Washington , the expected compensation for this role is between $74,900 - $99,000. This role is also eligible for annual incentive plan bonus.
