Key Responsibilities:
Prepare/review businesses and individual tax returns
Manage client financials: oversee monthly accounting, review financial statements, month-end and year-end adjustments
Prepare/review payroll, sales tax, 1099s
Respond to government notices and client requests
Conduct tax research and tax planning
Qualifications
2+ years of accounting experience that includes at least 2 years most recent paid experience specifically in business and individual tax preparation (Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and tax rules. Curious with tax law and want to know why behind every number.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent communication with a proactive attitude, integrity and professionalism
Bachelor or Master's Degree in accounting/taxation. Preferably CPA, EA or working toward it.
Expected hours: this can be a full time job; or you can start with part-time and then turn into full time.
Pay: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
