Job Title: Tax Preparer Trainee / Entry-Level (No Experience Required)
Position Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals interested in learning the tax preparation industry. No prior experience is required — we provide training and certification support to help you become a professional Tax Preparer. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong math, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior tax preparers with collecting and organizing client documents.
Enter data into tax preparation software accurately.
Review W-2s, 1099s, and other income/expense forms for completeness.
Support client intake, appointment scheduling, and file management.
Learn to prepare basic individual tax returns under supervision.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
Basic computer and math skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours during tax season.
Preferred:
Interest in accounting, finance, or business.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Willingness to obtain PTIN after training.
