About the Job PetSmart LLC seeks a full-time Lead EIM Analyst based in Phoenix, AZ. The primary duty of the Lead EIM Analyst is to collaborate with Analytics teams and the business to design and build sustainable Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions and add significant business value. This position executes the build, test and deployment of the solution to ensure it meets design specification and ultimately the business requirements. Specific duties include : 1) work with Information Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and business area teams to review requirements, detailed technical design and specification documents to identify system dependencies and risks; This would include signing off on projects and programs that would impact the Reporting environment and champion efforts to ensure appropriate development best practices and assist with strategy and roadmap development; 2) analyze business and other data processing problems to implement and / or improve software systems, and analyze problems with Monitoring Batch processes database (Oracle,SQL) to improve MicroStrategy reporting issues; 3) enhance system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; enhance MicroStrategy Architecture design and test procedures using Data Warehousing concepts; 4) ascertain, develop, and implement improvements / solutions; develop and design MicroStrategy reports with Oracle / SQL backend database and providing IT solutions by gathering business requirements; 5) create and develop MicroStrategy reports using Data Warehousing concepts including Data Marts; 6) support the management of the Microstrategy platform to include tech uplift, resolving difficult and complex problems impacting the Environment, define, implement and monitor platform KPIs performance tune Intelligent Server and Web Server for best MicroStrategy; 7) Identify, recommend and champion the automation of the routine tasks to drive efficiency and productivity of the team which includes developing mechanisms and automation for deploying, migration, or refreshing MicroStrategy projects and configuration changes across various environments and define the tooling strategy for automated code reviews, CI / CD process; 8) Lead and Develop Internal / vendor teams to ensure deliverables are high quality, on time, and meet the business needs while adhering to PetSmart’s best practices and standards; 9) triage major incidents by demonstrating subject matter expertise on the Microstrategy platform to solve complex problems using ITSM best practices including root cause analysis for problems, estimate efforts and contribute to the development of long term solutions; and 10) Expand and / or modify system to meet technical specifications; test, maintain, and monitor systems; modify system using Data Warehousing concepts and working on MicroStrategy User Acceptance Testing. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, MIS or related field plus five (5) years of related, progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Experience must include five (5) years of experience, which may be concurrent, with all of the following : 1) Creating and developing MicroStrategy reports using Data Warehousing concepts including Data Marts. 2) Analyzing business and other data processing problems to implement and / or improve software systems, and analyzing problems with Monitoring Batch processes database (Oracle,SQL) to improve MicroStrategy reporting issues. 3) Expanding and / or modifying system to meet technical specifications; testing, maintaining, and monitor systems; modifying system using Data Warehousing concepts and working on MicroStrategy User Acceptance Testing. 4) Enhancing system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; enhancing MicroStrategy Architecture design and test procedures using Data Warehousing concepts. 5) Ascertaining, developing, and implementing improvements / solutions; developing and designing MicroStrategy reports with Oracle / SQL backend database and providing IT solutions by gathering business requirements.
