Standards Specialist

This role is based in our 2828 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004 office.Position Summary: The Standards Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective compliance program for New Hope Network and SupplySide events, publications, and digital portfolio. This includes participating in standards development, establishing compliance strategies and attending events.Duties Include:Review exhibitor labeling to determine eligibility for events based on ingredient and regulatory requirementsReview advertisements and paid content to determine eligibility for publicationVerify third-party certifications used by exhibitorsPerform compliance audits of exhibitor materials at virtual and in-person trade eventsManage workflow efficiently and ensure the smooth operation of departmental responsibilitiesStay current with industry development, innovation and regulatory challenges related to food/beverages, dietary supplements, cosmetics, devices, pet products and cleanersMaintain accurate account and compliance records in SalesforceDevelop and coordinate projects with event sales, content, operations and customer service teams to consistently enforce compliance with the Standards and Compliance programsHelp continuously improve the application and review process, and our integrity programs overallParticipate and lead team projects related to ingredient standards, policy, automation, SOPs and other operational and substantive areas as neededTravel, as required, to Natural Products Expo and SupplySide
