Our client is an established aerospace and metal finishing manufacturer specializing in precision surface treatment processes.
The Planner I coordinates job travelers, work orders, and production schedules to ensure parts are processed accurately and on time. This role supports customer communication, workflow tracking, and daily production activities.
Pay Rate: $19–$23/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift – 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
Create and review job travelers/work orders based on customer specifications.
Verify incoming part counts, purchase orders, and pricing.
Check parts for basic accuracy prior to processing (identification, count, condition).
Update and maintain system information for repeat jobs and pricing changes.
Communicate discrepancies or missing information to customers.
Coordinate with production leads to monitor job status and schedule updates.
Maintain organized records and assist with documentation.
Support quality team with basic inspection tasks when needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in planning, scheduling, or production coordination preferred.
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or special process environments is a plus.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Must pass background check and drug screen.
