Madden Industrial Craftsmen is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator for a metal fabrication company in Phoenix, AZ. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form stainless-steel parts according to blueprints and specifications.
This company specializes in custom stainless-steel restaurant kitchen and bar equipment used by many well-known restaurant chains across the country. The work involves fabricating high-end stainless components for kitchens, bar stations, and service counters. Stainless steel requires precision, care, and craftsmanship — it’s less forgiving than other metals and demands a high level of attention to detail and finesse.
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Background/UA: Not required. Driving history is checked.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate hydraulic and mechanical press brake machines.
Run production parts according to drawings and job travelers.
Assist with setups and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience operating press brake or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of different material types, gauges, and bend allowances.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
