Accountant

Description We are offering a role for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. The primary function of this role is to assist in analyzing the financial performance and status of contracts, overseeing budgeting processes, and providing financial data to internal and external partners. This position is a contract opportunity, providing an excellent chance to gain experience in the telecom industry.Responsibilities: Assisting the CFO in analyzing the financial performance and status of all contracts, focusing on aspects such as budgets, billings, modifications, monitoring, and forecasting Recommending strategies and/or process improvements where appropriate Overseeing and directing senior financial analyst functions such as Budgets, form 2110s, Vouchers, Staff Vacancy reports, and IPP Ensuring the accurate preparation and timely submission of regulatory and governmental reports Providing customer service support and assisting in providing requested financial data Managing corporate and Job Corps center budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis Utilizing accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for financial management and data reporting Handling multiple projects and working well under pressure, producing quality results on schedule with attention to detail Understanding balance sheets, income statements, accounts receivable, and payroll Mastering the use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient operations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for efficient handling of financial data Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary for processing financial transactions Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential for managing business processes Experience in implementing ERP Solutions is needed for optimizing business operations Ability to operate Great Plains (GPAC) for managing business finances Understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial for managing company's financial resources Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for managing transactions Expertise in Auditing to ensure accuracy of financial records Knowledge of Budget Processes for planning and controlling company's finances Proficiency in Excel Formulas for efficient data processing and analysis Command over Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data Ability to perform Data reporting for presenting important information in a clear and concise manner Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
