You will be working under the direction of the Procurement Supervisor, interfacing with our various project teams, vendors and subcontractors performing various office functions related to subcontractor agreements, invoices, payments, and claims resolution. Responsibilities include activities related to seller/subcontractor management:

Prepare and manage pay-forms, which includes data entry of those into our system

Vendor payment communication

Administration of payment procedures

Administration of back charges and resolution of claims

Participate in weekly meetings with procurement staff located in multiple locations in the Southwest.

Interface with Project Controls and Project Leadership on changes and progress regarding Seller and Subcontractor management.

Interface with multiple departments and disciplines to evaluate Seller/Subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Interface with Kiewit Business Services for invoice and document management resolution.

Interface with Seller/Subcontractors regarding proper documentation backup, contract procedures, and work under direction of Project Controller(s)/Contracts Manager

Qualifications

Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with SAP, or similar MRP software is a plus.

Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to follow up and resolve problems from beginning to end. Comfortable talking on the phone with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Ability to problem solve, handle multiple tasks at once, and work independently to achieve short term and long-term deadlines. Must be self-directed at times, and able to prioritize work. Able to work as part of team and comfortable communicating with all levels of people from Sr. Managers to craft. Comfortable contacting vendors and employees for information.

Minimum of 1 year in an administrative role, ideally performing similar functions as defined above. Experience with accounting, contracts and purchasing functions preferred but we are willing to train!

Experience working in an engineering or construction environment preferred
