Summary​The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant willplan and manage the human side of implementing strategic change and adoption of various IT (Information Technology) and business-led initiatives.What You'll Do

Quickly build an understanding of the client's business, situation, and desired outcome(s).

Coach the client on OCM best practices, lessons learned, and trends, while designing tailored OCM solutions that deliver value and meet the client’s needs and expectations.

Apply structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts​.

Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.

Conduct change impact, stakeholder, and readiness assessments, analyze results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.

Support the execution of plans by frontline managers and business leaders.

Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.

Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.

​Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan​.

Collaborate/partner with sponsors, project leadership and other key partners such as Internal Communications to ensure cohesive change efforts.

What It Takes To Succeed

Certification or familiarity with Prosci or another OCM methodology

Excellent communication skills are important – both written and verbal. Translating technical concepts into layman’s terms is an essential skill. Practicing active listening skills to ensure people feel heard and then implement (or fine-tune) OCM solutions based on feedback.

Strong leadership ability to inspire and motivate teams, manage resistance, and foster a positive environment for change.

Foster collaborative and constructive dialogue to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain their support and address their concerns.

Ability to balance multiple time-bound projects while maintaining keen attention to detail.

Ensures deliverables are completed to a high level of quality, on schedule and within budget.

Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work independently and with a large variety of personalities at all levels of business.

Ability to be flexible, demonstrate critical thinking and work effectively in fluid, complex environments.

Experience

5+ years of program and change management experience in a corporate environment preferred.

EducationCompletion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.Hybrid WorkplaceSRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week.
