Job Title: Structures MechanicJob DescriptionExciting opportunity to join our team as a Structures Mechanic, starting in the first week of August! As a certified Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 repair station, we specialize in comprehensive aircraft maintenance across a variety of aircraft types. In this role, you will research technical data and perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft sheet metal structures, including main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams. This position requires adherence to FAA regulations and company policies. You will also read and interpret blueprints, plan and lay out fabrications, and make crucial maintenance decisions based on detailed product specifications. This is a contract to hire position, with potential direct hire based on performance and attitude.Hard Skills

Reading and interpreting blueprints

Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal

Inspection and repair of aircraft structures

Working with various materials like stainless steel, steel, aluminum, plastics, and fiberglass

Operation of hydraulic press brake, power shear, forming equipment, hand tools, lift equipment, stands, ladders, glass beading equipment, rivet guns, drills

You will work on the B777 Cargo Conversion Program, but may be assigned tasks property wide. The position involves exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperatures, and potential hazards such as working on unprotected heights or around moving machinery.
