This role involves handling high-volume phone calls, data order entry, and assisting management in executing the company's mission.Responsibilities
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations.
Interpret faxes, e-scripts, verbal, and written prescription orders.
Charge credit cards for orders.
Answer patient phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
Process refill requests from patients and doctors’ offices.
Call patients about new prescriptions and IVR requests.
Call doctors for refill requests.
Essential Skills
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Tech Trainee required.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy compounding and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
Excellent customer service skills and empathy.
Strong communication, listening skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data entry, email, and internet.
Good math skills.
Work EnvironmentThe work hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The role involves working in a closed-door compounding pharmacy. The environment supports a collaborative and professional team atmospherePay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.44 - $21.21Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
