Position SummaryWhat you'll doManages reconciliation of financials related to fuel deliveries and inventory for sites (for example, Sam's Clubs, Walmart Stores, Distribution Centers) by analyzing multiple data components (for example, sales data, deliveries, beginning and ending inventory) ensuring carrier-provided data and data collected at fuel stations are consistent identifying shrink that may impact facilities responding to potential environmental and regulatory issues (for example leaks, cross-contamination of fuel) validating third-party billing and payment system for fuel and financial inaccuracies and ensuring accuracy in financial posting and margin calculation to minimize negative profit and loss (P&L) impact of fuel charges to clubs, stores and distribution centers.

Contributes to the management of key financial metrics (for example, sales, costs inventory) that impact company project margin by providing reporting on sites with margin and inventory discrepancies making recommendations to senior leaders on course of action to correct discrepancies that impact profitability and partnering with suppliers, merchants and Finance to resolve issues.

Analyzes outstanding fuel deliveries by identifying trends across sites communicating trends through individual training with carriers and fuel associates requesting legal documentation from carriers to support delivery and updating access database with most current information sent by third-party fuel system for workflow and reporting management.

Provides training across multiple groups (for example, third-party fuel providers, new associates) for accurate reconciliation of financials by identifying gaps in capabilities proposing content and training that will close gaps developing training content implementing training for all relevant parties and providing feedback on progress and recommendations for improvement.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders identifying business needs determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices monitoring progress and results recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans, using the Open Door Policy, and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
