Relocation assistance is not available for this roleThe official job title for this role is Supv, IT - Operational TechJob Summary/PurposeThis role provides technical and administrative oversight and support of the Entergy PI Historian system and other Power Generations fleet monitoring applications. The primary responsibility of the team is the maintenance, enhancements and support of 3rd party and custom applications including Aveva PI (Power Generation Nuclear Central and Fossil/Solar Fleet) and Power Delivery, StackVision, EtaPro, SampleIQ. This role has ownership and responsibilities assigned by IT leadership to ensure high availability of operational systems.Job Duties/Responsibilities

Provides technical and administrative oversight and support for the Fleet data collection systems. This role has programmatic ownership responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager and site-specific duties to ensure high availability of site OT systems.

Coordinates 24/7 system support of OT systems via call outs.

Coordinate system backups, upgrades, and disaster recovery for critical systems.

Perform as or identify subject matter expert as needed to facilitate the timely completion of projects and tasks.

Maintain OT system network and associated components. Conduct system performance monitoring related to OT system ownership.

Develop, manage, and maintain customer relationships with the Business Customers across Power Generation and Power Delivery Operations Organizations.

Manage assigned portfolio. Participate in benchmarking and self-assessments to improve process and system performance.

Performs other duties specific to site type including serving as an advocate for safe operations and continuous improvement and implementing the Corrective Action Program for site OT.

Provide direction and oversight on the following activities for the OT Market Applications Team:

Ensuring reliability of but not limited to Entergy’s PI, Stack Vision, EtaPro, SampleIQ and Pegasus.

Coordinating upgrade and enhancement projects for the applications supported.

Work with Internal Audit to coordinate and respond to all application audits that fall under the Market Applications purview.

Perform quarterly resource planning with other members of OT Management.

Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required of the position.Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.Minimum experience required of the position.

2+ years of demonstrated track record of relevant technology delivery.

Desired experience for the position

6+ years with strong track record of relevant technology delivery with Subject Matter Expertise for OT and application support.

Experience with the operational areas of the company (Nuclear, Power Generation, Power Delivery, SPO)

Experience and strong skills in interfacing senior level managers and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical senior managers.

Experience with control systems security, security architecture, network security engineering or secure network development experience with electric power utilities

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position.

Very Good Communication Skills

Technical Competence should equal Basic to Proficient in IT or OT services.

Applied knowledge of helpdesk and work tracking tools.

Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver IT services.

Hands on experience in developing and implementing security control policy and procedures.

Knowledge of system engineering processes, particularly requirements analysis, interface definition, and detail implementation planning.

Knowledge of business continuity and recovery planning.

Knowledge of security controls testing, security audits, and security assessments.

Knowledge of the operation of the electric power and/or generation systems
