The Opportunity: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our Strategic Account Plans for the Dolls category.  The role will require a deep understanding of the retail environment and how to align our portfolio of products with the account needs.This position will be based in our Rogers, Arkansas Sales office.  The position will require travel to the account and Mattel’s corporate headquarters. What Your Impact Will Be: Account base consists of:Focus on Mattel Dolls product linesDirect interaction with buying, planning, advertising, merchandising and finance teams at the accountsAchieve targeted sales objectives for dedicated account consistent with the annual business plan by leveraging data, consumer and shopper insightsQuarterly and annual sales and profitability targetsIncrease overall revenue in conjunction with profitable growth at account level (Includes ROI analysis to justify funding spends)Oversee & manage budgets covering market development, trade and over & above fundingDrive account planning and execution for Dolls Product LinesLead Buyer meetings and periodic Business Reviews to refine inventory forecasts and promotional planningConduct internal discussions with Forecasting, Customer Service, Marketing and Retail Marketing teams to ensure strong retail executionManage monthly forecast and pledge review process to ensure in-line with open to build thresholdsIdentify business opportunities with the account and work with internal partners to create customized plans to drive resultsBuild and merchandise full-line Spring and Fall planograms to increase SKU and brand productivity for each customerDesign and implement display and prepack process to secure out of aisle space at retail accountsMaintain item set-up and fill/cut reports within account baseAttend toy shows & previews and be knowledgeable of brands and product linesBuild relationships with the account’s buyers, planners and marketers, internal Mattel partners and Licensor partners
