Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes.#RN@DHQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Flexibility to function in an ambulatory surgery setting. Including responsibilities of surgical patient preparation anddischarge and performing procedures based on medical direction or hospital policy. Preoperative Preparation/Discharge. Procedural Sedation. Procedural Nurse (GI, stress tests, interventional radiology, transfusions, wound care)
Current California Registered Nurse license.
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Current approved health care provider CPR certification - BLS.
Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Wound Care Certification PICC Line Certificatoin All within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years critical care experience preferred and/or 1-2 years OR nursing acute care facility.
