Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Loan Processor to join our team local to Ventura County, CA. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in facilitating loan applications from start to finish. You will ensure the smooth and timely processing of various types of loan applications, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Review and process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documents are complete and accurate.

Collect and verify applicants' financial information, such as income, credit history, and employment data.

Communicate with applicants, loan officers, and underwriters to resolve any discrepancies or gather additional documentation.

Maintain accurate loan files and documentation throughout the loan approval process.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and internal policies.

Coordinate closing schedules and ensure all documentation is properly executed before loan disbursement.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan status and provide updates throughout the loan process.

Work collaboratively with the underwriting and closing teams to meet processing deadlines.

Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.

2+ years of experience as a Loan Processor or in a similar role within the financial industry.

Strong understanding of loan processing, underwriting guidelines, and lending regulations.

Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
