Description Our esteemed client based in Cardiff is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Billing Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will become an essential part of the company's financial cycle by managing invoice processing, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring accuracy in the billing process. As a Billing Specialist, you will handle day-to-day billing activities in a timely and efficient manner. This includes processing customer transactions, preparing and sending invoices, reconciling accounts receivable ledger, and ensuring timely payments. Your strong attention to detail and drive for accuracy makes you a great fit for our team. The key to success in this role is demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities:
Communicating with clients regarding billing inquiries and disputes.
Creating and sending out invoices, monitoring accounts for timely payment, and releasing of invoices.
Checking whether the billed amount is accurate by comparing system information with the actual invoice.
Performing account reconciliations and processing credit memos.
Working closely with the finance team to develop reports, audit billings, and resolve any customer issues related to billing.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business systems.
Strong understanding of billing rules and regulations.
Exceptional numerical and data analysis skills.
