Aerospace/Defense Company is Now Hiring: Test TechnicianJob Description
Perform extensive functional and operational tests on electronic and electro-optical display systems.
Responsible for determining the cause of any malfunction and making necessary adjustments and repairs.
Typical duties will include planning, assembling, and fabricating assemblies associated with electronic and electromechanical device systems and sub-systems.
Work from specifications, test procedures, data sheets, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams, as well as oral and written instructions.
Perform functional tests, diagnose and repair analog and digital printed circuit boards to component level, and set up and operate various types of standard and specialized test equipment.
Assisting engineering in the final checkout of new systems, establishing new test procedures, and ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic products.
Candidate MUST have understanding of in-process testing and troubleshooting at the component level
Required Qualifications
5-10 years experience in a similar position OR AA/AS in Electronics Technology/Certification with 1-2 years
Experience from Military (any branch) or large Aerospace & Defense company, highly preferred
Attention to detail
Effective communication
