We are proud recipients of the Perinatal Care Certificate of Excellence and a Certificate of Excellence for Hip and Knee Replacements.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate pediatric adult and geriatric patients. The incumbent will perform arterial punctures continuous ventilation airway maintenance emergency care infection control isolation procedures maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators cardiopulmonary resuscitation aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease and medical gas administration. The incumbent will access the medications from the medication storage unit and the nurse servers in the patient care areas. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program
Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required
Two (2) years of acute care experiences with one (1) year of critical care experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications though the American Heart Association (AHA) required based on facility requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Current California Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license preferred
