THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Chico, CA area. The primary responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing B2B sales professionals to successfully market and sell company products. The role involves creating and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, building relationships with business leaders and clients, and extensively working on team development to exceed targets. The Agency Development Manager will also oversee performance metrics, provide coaching and mentorship, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong sales and business development skills, including the ability to prospect, recruit, and motivate a sales team
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Proficiency in relationship-building with clients and stakeholders
Organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks
Experience with performance management and achieving sales targets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in the insurance or financial services, or employee benefits industry
A state insurance license is required; support will be provided to attain licensure if necessary
