These products offer customers access to millions of books, movies, TV shows, apps, and skills, with new features constantly being added.The Device, Digital and Alexa Support (D2AS) function is looking for a motivated individual with proven analytical skills and practical experience to join the Product Analytics team as a Business Intelligence Engineer. We are looking for an expert who can build and analyze data systems, spot important business pattern, create metrics that measure success and develop ways to validate our findings.This role combines technical skills with business insight. You'll use your experience in Business Intelligence (BI) to help us make smart, data-driven decisions. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve customers better and grow our business.Key job responsibilities
Engage closely with Engineers, Scientists, and Data Engineers on developing BI/analytics solutions to support customer facing CS products.
Support A/B experiment feature testing and analysis.
Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data pipelines, metrics, reports, visualizations, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive business decisions.
Help define requirements around customer service interactions and establish actionable actionable insights.

About the teamThe D2AS Product Analytics team is responsible for supporting a broad suite of customer and associate facing technical products. ChatBot, Forums, Screen Sharing, Dynamic Troubleshooting, Help App and Diagnostic Data Tools are built and maintained to help our customers get the help they need as efficiently as possible.The Product Analytics team contributes to this success by providing data, analysis and dashboard solutions to inform strategic product development and tactical feature rollouts. The team work closely with partners in Data Science and Data Engineering teams to feed new insights and features to our predictive ML solutions.Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
